The Town of Taa'if
Taa'if is a town high up in the mountains about an hour from Makkah.
The temperatures are much cooler and they grow delicious fruits.
The road to Taa'if from Makkah begins to ascend a very steep mountain. Watch it wind its way through the pictures until the top! There is a water park at the foot of the mountain and a cable car ride that goes all the way up to the top...
On the mountain are families of baboons who welcome visitors and their leftovers...
They also have camel and pony rides, sandune buggies, fresh fruit markets and shops selling their famous rose water distilled in this very region of Taa'if.
